vkhp-consulting were appointed as Structural and Civil Engineers for various phases of this luxury riverside development, located in Weybridge, Surrey.

The project was developed through three different phases and consists of high quality gated houses and apartments.

Built alongside the river Wey, the development posed a number of challenges, not least the need to satisfy strict flood avoidance measures set out in the Water Resource Act 1991 and Land Drainage Bylaws 1981. Built to the satisfaction of the Environment Agency, we were able to deliver a safe and secure environment for this prestigious riverside development. The ground conditions were poor and required extensive piled foundations to a significant depth.
