vkhp-consulting were commissioned to carry out the Civil and Structural design of a luxury house in north London.

​

The design is highly Architectural and includes a full basement with swimming pool with further accommodation over ground and first floors.

​

Due to the extensive use of cantilevers and the irregular structural arrangement, a reinforced concrete structural solution was adopted with a lightweight first floor to limit the structural depth of the cantilevers.

​

vkhp-consulting also designed the comprehensive drainage scheme for the site, which was complicated by the lack of mains drainage and the presence of impermeable London Clay on site.
